Orizzontaleverticale
La galleria A arte Studio Invernizzi inaugura venerdì 19 settembre 2008 la propria stagione espositiva con una mostra dedicata all’artista Nelio Sonego che per l’occasione presenta una recente serie di opere dal ciclo Orizzontaleverticale.
“Orizzontaleverticale” segna un’importante fase nel ciclo pittorico di Sonego in cui emerge un forte desiderio di spazialità. Nelle tele non denuncia neppure come univoca la direzionalità del loro collocamento sulla parete, ma questa è concepita per adattarsi in maniera sempre rinnovabile al luogo in cui si andranno ad inserire e con cui si troveranno a dialogare.
Così è imprescindibile trovare nuove dimensioni di senso che legano le sue opere agli ambienti nei quali, di volta in volta, si inseriscono e che ne esplorano e contemplano le inattese specificità.
Privata di una direzionalità sicura e forzatamente limitante, l’opera di Sonego si rende possibile artefice del suo divenire continuo e mutabile, relazionabile all’immutabile cangiante del divenire della Natura e delle sue manifestazioni.
I rettangoli colorati, segni intervento del pensare riflessivo dell’artista, in questi recenti lavori diventano una pulsione ancor più intermittente. Sono vibrazioni vitalmente energetiche che tendono a concentrarsi sul limite tra tela e parete, tra finito e infinito. Il pulsare quasi nervoso dei colori di Sonego diventa il concitato anelito al germinante vigore della vita; il suo segno è un segno cosmico che esplora tutte le forme del divenire della e nella Natura. È una pittura attenta e che attende ai fenomeni contingenti di cui il pensare dell’uomo deve essere interprete, anzi ne è parte assolutamente inscindibile.
In occasione della mostra verrà pubblicato un catalogo bilingue contenente la riproduzione delle opere in mostra, un saggio di Klaus Wolbert, una poesia di Carlo Invernizzi e un apparato bio-bibliografico.

On Friday 19 September 2008 the gallery A arte Studio Invernizzi opens its exhibitory season with a show exhibition devoted to the artist Nelio Sonego who, on this occasion is presenting a recent series of works from his cycle “Orizzontaleverticale”.
“Orizzontaleverticale” marks an important stage of Sonego’s pictorial cycle, in which a strong desire of spatiality emerges. He does not require his canvases to have a single directionality with regard to their placing on the wall, allowing this to be adapted on each occasion to the place where they are to be displayed, which they will have to engage in dialogue. Thus it is absolutely necessary to find new dimensions of meaning that can link his works to the various environments in which they are inserted, the unexpected features of which they explore and contemplate.
Deprived of a certain and necessarily limiting directionality, Sonego’s work becomes the possible creator of its own continuous and mutable coming into being and its manifestations.
In these recent works, the coloured rectangles - signs that are the intervention of the artist’s reflective thought - become an even more intermittent pulsation. They are vitally energetic vibrations tending to concentrate at the point where the canvas meets the wall, between the finite and the infinite. The almost nervous throbbing of Sonego’s colours becomes an excited longing for the germinative vigour of life; his sign is a cosmic one that explores all the forms of becoming that belong to nature and are present in it. This is attentive painting that attends to the contingent phenomena human thought must interpret - or rather, it is an absolutely inseparable part of them.
On the occasion of the exhibition a bilingual catalogue including photographs of the works on display in the exhibition, an essay by Klaus Wolbert, a poem by Carlo Invernizzi and bio-bibliographical notes will be published.
On the occasion of start the gallery will be opened on Saturday 20 September from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday 21 September from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
